There are a lot of good veteran players in the NHL today, that may or may not make the hall of fame. Do you think these people will make it? 1. Peter Forsberg: Great player, no doubt. But he only has 700 nhl games and 800 points, so do you think he can make it against other veterans such as paul kariya, doug weight, bill guerin, jaromir jagr, teemu salenee, keith tkachuk and others great players like that? 2. Vincent Lecavalier: Good player, but ignore the 1st overall. He has struggled in the nhl recently, and isn't even at a point per game. And he is an offensive player. Can he make it? 3. Martin St. Louis: Good player, and great offensively, especially since the lockout. Do you think his play will continue to grow until he retires? 4. Owen Nolan: Great player, but he's going against the same people forsberg is. Can he beat them? 5. Chris Osgood: It's hard to determine if a goalie is good or great, and Chris Osgood is right on that line. Do you think he's one of the best goalies, or does he just fall short 6. Vyacheslav Kozlov: A pretty good player who may break 900 points. Do you think he's good enough 7. Todd Bertuzzi: Great player, but he has been controvesial at a few points in his career. Do you think the nhl will ignore his dirty incidents such as the hit on steve moore 8. Jason Arnott: Another Power Forward, who may break 900 points (With the Devils btw: Go Devils) But is he great or just good 9. Patrik Elias: Another great forward who may break 900 points. But it's important to remember he plays for the defensive NJ Devils. Is he hall of fame good. 10. JS Gigure: Okay Goalie who made history with his 2003 playoff run (95% save percent in around 20 games) Is it enough to bring him to glory in the hall? 11. Robyn Regehr: Not strong on offense at all. But since he came into the league, he has been a dedicated player, who is incredibly strong on defense. He may only be a 300 point scorer, but he can play defense as well as anyone. I was thinking about all of the great veterans in the nhl recently, and thought that some people who deserve to be in the hall of fame may not be in the hall of fame.
